Microphone and Audio-Processing Privacy

• Audio: analysed via the Web Audio API on-device; the microphone stream is never connected to speakers and never uploaded, recorded server-side, or shared. Stopping the meter disposes tracks and closes the audio context.
• Permissions: the browser asks for microphone access once per origin; you can revoke it any time in the address-bar site settings. Denying permission only shows the idle “--” display — nothing is captured.
• Storage: theme preference and up to 20 session summaries live in your browser's localStorage only. Clearing site data removes them.
• Analytics/cookies: Google Analytics is used to understand site usage and may set analytics cookies or receive page, browser and device information. It never receives microphone audio or measurement samples.
• Advertising/cookies: if advertising is shown, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can switch off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings or opt out of third-party personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Microphone audio and measurement samples are never used for advertising.
• Hosting: static files are served over HTTPS; the host may keep standard access logs outside this app's control.
